    FISHING WASHINGTON, THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST

Tucked in the Northwest corner of the United States, Washington State boasts a very diverse climate and geography. This translates in numerous fly fishing opportunities and many lifetimes would be required to catch over 100 species found in the saltwater, rivers and lakes.

On the East side, the dry climate has carved beautiful canyons where the desert trout are waiting to be fooled. Further South the almighty Columbia River and its tributaries are the largest body of water on the West Coast and each year millions of fish accomplish their spawning journey through the watershed. To the West, over 3000 miles of shoreline along the Pacific coast and Puget Sound offers scenic recreational opportunities. The Canadian border up north is some of the most rugged terrain in the country where backcountry fanatics will find unpressured creeks and lakes in the summer months.
